Best Books for CBSE Class 10th to Score Good Marks

A lot of viewer was asking on our YouTube “TopRanker4U” channel to suggest best book for CBSE class 10^th. I was hesitating to make article on it because of some people will tell why you have not included this book in your list.

But I thought if I ignore those people, I can help needed student. I have done a lot of research before making this article which I am going to share it now.

I have seen some of the student/ not some but can say majority of the student buy book what are suggested on public domain like internet/YouTube channel. I will suggest no to run for many book instead buy some best book and make practice so many times before jumping for other books.

I am going to suggest some important book which will not only help to score good marks in class 10^th nevertheless it will help to qualify in competitive exam like IIT JEE, NEET and India toughest exam like UPSC.

NCERT book for class 10th

NCERT for mathematics class 10th: Price

Let’s talk with first most important subject Mathematics. It is very important for each and every student to buy NCERT for mathematics and practice a lot. It is mandatory for each student who is ether strong in mathematics or weak. Make sure you have solved all exercise along with solved example.

RD Sharma for cbse class 10th

RD Sharma for mathematics class 10th: Price

Jump for other good book RD Sharma only when if you have solved all questions. RD Sharma is Dhanpat Rai Publication book. It covers a lot of questions of different type. Difficult questions are given in this book which will help to clear your question. So you can use this book for reference. It is definitely going to help for IIT JEE.

RS.Agarwal is also good book for those who are scared with RD Sharma book thickness as well as level of difficulty of the questions. If you are not feeling comfortable with RD Sharma, you may go with RS.Agarwal. But if you ask me to choose one reference book, I will go with RD Sharma.

Let’s talk for Science; you must have to buy NCERT for science as well. Because NCERT book is written by industry expert and book is designed in such a way that it will help for all competitive exam.

After finishing this book, you can go for PUBLICATIONS (MANJIT KAUR AND LAKSHMIR SINGH) only for Physics and Chemistry if you are going to opt Mathematics in class 11th. Because Biology book of PUBLICATIONS (MANJIT KAUR AND LAKSHMIR SINGH) is explained in more in detail which are really not required for you. But you are going for medical stream and want to crack NEET kind of exam, then PUBLICATIONS (MANJIT KAUR AND LAKSHMIR SINGH) will be good choice for you otherwise NCERT for biology is sufficient. If I talk for Social science book, I don’t see apart from NCERT. There are number of books available on Social science in market but I don’t want to take name of any one because NCERT is really good book and if you stick with this book, it is going to help for competitive exam. Some student may try to buy and still thinking nothing wrong to buy other good book. But that student may miss all important point explained in NCERT. So better rather buying other book, you read NCERT number of times to refresh your concept.

For English and Hindi, don’t go for other book, NCERT is sufficient. If you are weak in grammar then you may buy BBC or Wren and martin. NCERT is also sufficient for SANSKRIT.

I don’t want to suggest unwanted book which really not required for you. Yes you buy sample paper as well to practice question and to know the exam pattern. I think Oswaal Question Bank is the good option for all subjects.

You must solve at least 10 years paper of each subject that is most important if you really want to see you as Topper in the exam.
