Such people discuss a  problem objectively, examine how a problem affects the team and its productivity, come up with possible solutions and make plans to implement the solutions. Soft skills also include strategizing, organizing, planning and delivering results, that form the productivity skills, which, as an employee, are needed for managing a deadline and staying focused, developing a project plan that includes all details such as goals, requirements and available resources, balancing multiple projects at a time and shifting priorities, identifying factors causing delay and assessing how to address them.
It helps to develop leadership qualities in students. For all such students who lack the spirit of leadership, soft skills come in as handy tools, and followers can turn into leaders when they start sharpening their soft skills. They will be able to motivate themselves to take on leadership roles so as to attract the attention of others. A sense of trustworthiness will also emerge when they begin to assess the leadership qualities in other students. Proactive leaders are regarded as asset on every workforce. Leadership is not simply getting things done but it’s the right kind of willingness and independence to take responsibility for making positive things happen.
